Alistair Richard Griffin si è preso un bel periodo di pausa dopo il suo primo cd “Bring It On”(n.12 in Uk) del 2004,realizzato grazie alla notorietà ottenuta con un programma tv sulla BBC.Il cantautore 33enne di Middlesbrough torna con il singolo “Just Drive”(n.38 in patria) che la stessa emittente ha scelto come commento agli highlights della stagione di F1,conclusasi con la vittoria di Sebastian Vettel lo scorso autunno.E’ un onesto pop-rock cio’ che propone e sinceramente non se ne sentiva la mancanza ma vedremo se c’è anche un po di sostanza nel disco che uscirà in estate.A fine post ascoltiamo l’unica cosa che l’ha riabilitato per quanto mi riguarda ovvero la parodia a sfondo calcistico di “Hallelujah” di Leonard Cohen.
