"America Give Up" è il titolo del primo cd degli Howler,la band garage rock di Minneapolis che ritroviamo col secondo singolo "This One's Different".Dal genere che propongono non possiamo (quasi più) aspettarci rivoluzioni e,detto questo,il gruppo di Jordan Gatesmith sa come farci pogare allegramente senza star li a discutere quanto siano originali.

E poi ci sono The Maccabees che invece pestano duro ma al contempo non trascurano il lato emotivo,vuoi per il falsetto di Orlando Weeks o per i continui saliscendi dei loro pezzi.Non fa eccezione il terzo estratto da "Given To The Wild",n.4 nella Uk chart.Intanto vi dico che il 3,4 e 5 novembre saranno a Firenze,Roma e Bologna,c'è tutto il tempo quindi per scegliere di andare a sentirli dal vivo.

La promozione non è proprio tra le priorità del progetto space-rock degli Angels & Airwaves guidati da Tom Delonge(Blink 182).L'album "Love:Part 2"(n.30 negli Usa) è stato pubblicato lo scorso ottobre e solo adesso esce il secondo video che tra l'altro non aggiunge neanche una virgola al solito sound del gruppo.

Quinto o sesto(?) video per i Foster The People da "Torches",quasi a voler mettere in chiaro che "Pumped Up Kicks" non rimarrà l'unica perla del loro repertorio ed io gli credo dato che l'electro-rock della band di Los Angeles ci regala sempre nuovi spunti traccia dopo traccia.

"Willpower" è il titolo scelto per il quarto cd da solista di Will.I.Am. dei Black Eyed Peas.Si attende la hit giusta per lanciare l'album e adesso è il turno di "This Is Love",pezzo dance-pop in cui si avvale della voce di Eva Simons e dei suoni riconoscibili degli Swedish House Mafia per un risultato dignitoso ed abbastanza originale considerando l'eccesso di brani di questo tipo.

Esce in questi giorni il secondo disco dei Temper Trap dal titolo omonimo.L'attesa per il gruppo australiano sembra essersi affievolita nonostante la buona qualità dei tre estratti fin qui proposti,incluso l'appena pubblicata "Trembling Hands" che seppur piuttosto convenzionale nella struttura pop-rock,viene valorizzata dall'interpretazione struggente di Dougy Mandagi.
