"Fallen Empires",il sesto album degli Snow Patrol, si è ben comportato nelle classifiche mondiali seppur confermando il trend in discesa della band scozzese.Anche per questo continuano a rilasciare nuovi video che tengano alta l'attenzione e adesso è il turno di "New York".L'ennesima ballad è comunque ben accetta se,come nel loro caso,mantiene alti gli standard del genere.

Tutti a tavola con The Wave Pictures ed il nuovo video per il singolo "Spaghetti".E' questa la traccia pop-rock acustica(piuttosto gradevole) estratta dall'album "Long Black Cars" e scelta dalla band britannica per proseguire la promozione del disco.

Lo scorso 22 maggio è uscito il nono album dei The Cult intitolato "Choice Of Weapon"(n.20 in Uk,n.34 negli Usa).Guardiamo la clip di "For The Animals",il singolo attuale del gruppo di Ian Astbury che suonerà il 13,14 e 15 luglio dalle nostre parti.

Dal secondo Ep "Awkward"(ricordate la title-track?) degli australiani San Cisco,vi propongo il video appena pubblicato di "Rocket Ship".In attesa dell'album di debutto,ci regalano ancora un bel motivetto tutto da cantare e fischiettare.

Luigi De Crescenzo,in arte Pacifico, è tuttora in promozione col suo quinto album "Una Voce Non Basta",cd di duetti che racchiude anche i due singoli fin qui pubblicati con Malika Ayane e Casino Royale.La carriera discografica del cantautore milanese è iniziata nel 2001 con l'album "Pacifico" e col singolo chiamato allo stesso modo.Lo ascoltiamo assieme a "Ricordati Di Me",canzone presente nella soundtrack del film di Muccino ed alla traccia di lancio del cd del  2006 "Dolci Frutti Tropicali".

Esce il 22 giugno "Overexposed",il quarto album dei Maroon 5.Va a gonfie vele il primo estratto "Payphone" ma in concomitanza con la release,è già pronto il nuovo singolo "One More Night",reggae-pop orecchiabile ma a cui manca clamorosamente un ritornello degno di nota.

RAC sta per Remix Artist Collective,un gruppo statunitense di dj diventati di culto per svariati remix(li trovate qui).Adesso hanno scelto non a caso il talentuoso cantante/produttore di Manhattan,Penguin Prison(fresco di cd d'esordio) per il primo singolo inedito.Si intitola "Hollywood" ed è un pezzo electro-pop sicuramente gradevole ma che non mi  lascia segni tangibili del suo passaggio,ovvero non stimola al riascolto.
