Esce il 23 luglio "The Soul Sessions Vol. 2",il sesto album di Joss Stone che sarà composto come il Volume 1(del 2003) da sole cover.La cantante soul-pop 25enne inglese ci propone "The High Road",portata al successo dai Broken Bells nel 2009.Devo dire che manca la giusta intensità nell'interpretazione tecnicamente ineccepibile dell'artista.

Il 26 luglio uscirà "Lp1",il quinto album di Joss Stone.La 24enne inglese pubblica il disco per la sua stessa etichetta(Stone'd Record) e si occupa anche della produzione assieme all'ex Eurythmics Dave Stewart.Il primo singolo è "Somehow",una traccia soul-rock con il suo inconfondibile timbro vocale che sprigiona una grande carica senza alcuna ruffianeria radiofonica.
