Il duo synth-pop inglese Monarchy,lancia il singolo "Disintegration" con la curiosa collaborazione della regina del burlesque Dita Von Teese,come si puo' apprezzare anche dal video.Un brano non memorabile per un progetto che si è perso un po' per strada dopo le buone premesse iniziali.

SONG

E' il quarto singolo per i Cut Copy dal loro piu' recente album "Zonoscope" ,premiato da critica e pubblico.Il nuovo brano del gruppo electro-pop australiano non aggiunge nulla di nuovo e secondo me è piu' un riempitivo di un cd che comunque mi è piaciuto tanto.

Example è ormai a pieno titolo da considerarsi come un esponente della scena electro inglese,per quanto sia allo stesso tempo un rapper dallo stile molto personale.Il suo quarto singolo da "Playing In The Shadows" lo conferma in stato di grazia.Apprezzo molto ,forse anche di piu' il remix fatto dai Wideboys e quindi ve li faccio ascoltare entrambi.

Si vola a New York adesso con i The Rapture e "Sail Away",la traccia che apre il loro terzo album "In The Grace Of Your Love".Niente male  ma la traccia non vive di luce propria secondo me,insomma fa la sua figura nella tracklist come intro al cd ma non mi conquista pienamente se presa "a parte".

L'album di debutto "Around The Sun" dei Monarchy(duo synth-pop londinese) è uscito qualche mese fa.Ammetto di doverlo recuperare e inizio con il singolo piu' recente,qui nella versione con la voce di Britt Love(ex cantante nel duo Mini Viva di cui vi posto la hit del 2009).Puro pop senza sorprese ma il risultato è buono,la semplicità della melodia è un valore aggiunto in questo caso.

Esce l'undici luglio "Around The Sun" il cd d'esordio dei Monarchy.L'ennesimo duo synthpop inglese è forse piu' tendente ai ritmi da dancefloor e guarda avanti più che agli anni '80.Dal singolo "I Won't Let Go"(con la voce femminile di Rokhsan) è evidente la voglia di centrare un buon risultato nelle charts ma purtroppo non coincide con la spontaneità che un debutto dovrebbe avere.

Un altro duo synth-pop si appresta a debuttare a gennaio 2011 col primo album omonimo.Sono gli australiani Monarchy di cui troviamo già diverse tracce su YouTube e soprattutto il video del singolo "Love Get Out Of My Way",in timida rotazione sulle nostre radio-frequenze.Falsetti,electro-funk e un tocco French-disco compongono il mosaico giusto per ballare senza sudare troppo e col drink in mano.
