Già passato su queste pagine in occasione della prima posizione raggiunta,Wretch 32 si merita lo spazio in questa rubrica perchè il singolo attuale "Don't Go" con l'inserto vocale di Josh Kumra, è davvero notevole.Riascolterei quasi all'infinito il brano del rapper 26enne di Tottenham,n.4 in Uk col primo cd "Black And White".

Nella Uk album chart  sale in vetta il duo electro-dubstep Nero con il debutto "Welcome Reality" mentre nella classifica dei singoli al primo posto c'è Wretch 32 feat. Josh Kumra con "Don't Go".Insomma gli inglesi non dimenticano la musica underground(per quanto un po annaquata per piacere ad un pubblico piu' vasto) e la premiano con buoni risultati di vendite.Oggi ascoltiamo proprio il singolo del rapper 26enne Jermaine Scott(Wretch 32) che esce in contemporanea con il secondo cd "Black And White".Mi tolgo il cappello(che non ho) di fronte ad un pezzo cosi' particolare tutto impostato sulla stessa linea di batteria eppure che non mi annoia neanche un po.

Torniamo alle classifiche,iniziando dagli album.Detto dell'exploit dei Nero,nelle posizioni successive troviamo Adele(n.2 e 5),Amy Winehouse con "Back To Black" e la coppia Kanye West/Jay-Z alla 4.C'è qualche ingresso degno di nota che finirà tra le ExtraSongs ma potete sbirciarli anche cliccando il link qua sopra.E' tutta nuova la top3 dei singoli con Wretch 32,Emeli Sande' con "Heaven"(cercate il Tag per ascoltarla) ed i Maroon 5 con "Moves Like Jagger".Avanza Christina Perri con "Jar Of Hearts" e scendono i Nero con "Promises" in quinta posizione.

Wretch 32 è il nome d'arte di Jermaine Scott,rapper 26enne di Tottenham che nella prossima estate pubblicherà il secondo album "Black & White".L'unione tra la buona idea di utilizzare il sample di "Fools Gold" degli Stone Roses(1989) e la scelta di un collega già affermato come Example,costituisce l'ossatura della hit "Unorthodox",arrivata fino al secondo posto della single-chart inglese.

Bruno Mars conquista la prima posizione anche in Inghilterra con il suo album d'esordio "Doo-Wops & Hooligans" ma il cantante soul-r&b non si accontenta e passa un'altra settimana in vetta alla single-chart con "Grenade".Rihanna scende alla 2 con "Loud" mentre al terzo posto entrano i White Lies con il secondo disco "Ritual" subito bocciato dalla critica ma non dal pubblico che si prepara al tour europeo con una tappa anche a Bologna il 12 marzo all'Estragon.La quarta posizione è occupata da Plan B e la quinta da Ellie Goulding.Una bella novità la troviamo alla 24 ed è "The King Is Dead" dei Decemberists,già apparsi su queste pagine mentre presto vi parlero' di Anna Calvi alla 40 col disco omonimo e potenziale rivelazione dell'anno.

Detto di Bruno Mars,la single-chart accoglie alla 2 Adele con "Rolling In The Deep",alla 4 "Coming Home" di Diddy-Dirty Money ed alla 5 Wretch 32 con "Traktor".Entrata fiacca per Britney Spears alla 6 con "Hold It Against Me" e soprattutto flop fragoroso per Avril Lavigne alla 29 con "What The Hell".Non dimentico al terzo posto Jessie J con "Do It Like A Dude".

Ascoltiamo "Traktor"(che a me non convince) del rapper esordiente di Tottenham che si fa chiamare Wretch 32 e cerca di ripercorrere le orme dei connazionali come Tinie Tempah con molta elettronica nelle sue produzioni.Nel 2008 è uscito l'album "Wretchrospective" ma mi pare di aver capito che sia una release per un'etichetta indipendente e che il vero debutto sia imminente con tanto di benedizione delle riviste musicali britanniche sulla fiducia.
