Elly Jackson(nella foto) è la cantante dalla chioma rossa e Ben Langmaid è colui che compone le melodie che si rifanno palesemente all’electro-pop degli anni ’80.Insieme formano i La Roux e con il loro album d’esordio omonimo stanno ottenendo un grande successo oltremanica.Dopo “In For The Kill” ,sta facendo adesso il suo corso il secondo singolo “Bulletproof”.La voce di Elly Jackson impreziosisce gli arrangiamenti,a volte stucchevoli,creati dall’altra metà e questo vale soprattutto per chi ascolta l’intero album,tutto sulla falsariga dei singoli fin qui estratti.Potevano fallire clamorosamente con il ripescaggio di sonorità vecchie di 20 anni o fare il colpaccio.Delle due ipotesi si è avverata decisamente la seconda,buon per loro.
