“The Broken Ones” è il primo singolo da solista per Dia Frampton.La storia della cantautrice 24enne dello Utah è particolare:faceva parte della band indie-rock Meg & Dia con cui ha pubblicato già 4 dischi ma poi è stata scelta per partecipare al talent-show “The Voice”.Le sue esibizioni hanno ricevuto il plauso di pubblico e critica e le hanno dato l’opportunità di pubblicare il primo album “Red” che uscirà il 6 dicembre.Nel brano che ascoltiamo mette in mostra una voce di sicuro impatto su una melodia che invece non mi ha impressionato.Tuttavia le carte per smarcarsi dal filone country-pop ed essere piu’ sofisticata sembrano comunque in suo possesso,aspettiamo il cd.
