Il primo album che porta il loro stesso nome è uscito nell’ottobre 2010 ottenendo dei buoni piazzamenti(n.42 negli Usa e n.95 in Uk).Sono i Young The Giant,gruppo indie-rock di Irvine in California che ha svoltato con il cambio d’intestazione del 2009(erano i The Jakes) e la firma sul contratto con la Roadrunner Records.Poi ovviamente ci vogliono le canzoni giuste come il nuovo singolo “Cough Syrup”,con una bella struttura che gioca sul filo della malinconia delle strofe e del ritornello comunque carico di energia.Vi consiglio l’album,pienamente accessibile a chi vuole del buon rock senza troppe divagazioni(Death Cab For Cutie?),ma fatto con passione e mestiere.
